A 49-year-old woman was fatally struck Thursday night by two vehicles while she was walking across West Orangethorpe Avenue, authorities said.
The coroner's office has identified the woman as Beverly Frantz.

Driver trapped after 3-vehicle collision
BUENA PARK -- Firefighters have used the Jaws of Life to rescue a person trapped inside a vehicle after a three-vehicle crash on Western and Crescent avenues, according to fire authorities.
Twelve firefighters were sent to the accident, reported at 7:42 a.m., according to Capt. Greg McKeown of the Orange County Fire Authority.
